Kolkata based United Bank of India awarded ISO 27001: 2013 certification

Kolkata based United Bank of India has been awarded ISO 27001:2013 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS) at Data Centre (DC), Data Recovery Centre (DRC) and Cyber-Security Operation Centre (C-SOC). Achieving the certification demonstrates Bank’s total commitment to benchmarking Technology/Information Security framework and processes with international standards and forms part of its long term vision for security best practices.

Allahabad Bank inaugurates Kisan Pragati Kendras and Agriculture Finance Branches

CH. S.S. Mallikarjuna Rao, MD and CEO, Allahabad Bank inaugurated Kisan Pragati Kendra (KPK) at Lucknow and at 42 other locations of the Bank simultaneously through Video Conferencing along with 31 Agriculture Finance Branches (AFB). Ravindra Singh, Field General Manager, Lucknow, and other dignitaries, customers and staff members of the Bank were present on the occasion. Establishment of KPK and AFB are an initiative under the project ‘Navodaya’ of the Bank for ensuring sanctions.
